March 12
Today is the day my Little Bug turned 11 months old. That was quick. Mary's mat leave ends on April 15. She is back to work and she has a baby sitter all lined up. Haley and Dustin are doing well except they had a little flood in their kitchen when their dishwasher decided to spring a leak. The girls have kept me entertained lately. On February 22, they took me and my gal to a Saskatoon Rush game. We were transported via limousine to the game with wobbly pops on the way. Morgan supplied the rap music in the limo. I still prefer country. Beside the fact that the Rush won the game, the next biggest highlight was the two cowboys who sat behind us at the game. Major entertainment and lots of laughs. Oh yeah, and more wobbly pops. On March 1, my birthday, my gal made a delicious dinner for my crew and the neighbour lady. Another good time. I continue to play hockey and volleyball. I'm actually on a 10 game scoreless streak, but I consider my self a major winner when I finish the game soaking wet from sweating so I always win. The boys in the 60 plus hockey league have become great friends and they keep me entertained. This week, my major task is participating in a 3 day Lay Committee Meeting for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Canada. I also have the pleasure of looking after Luvvy tomorrow morning. Luv, Mary, and I went to Tisdale last Wednesday to visit my mom. Mom was over the moon happy to see Luv. Luvisa kept Mom entertained the whole time we were in Tisdale. Next week, I have the donor of providing a sermon for the city wide Lenten service at Zion Lutheran. Come by and heckle me if you wish. Yes, life is good. Till next blog...
